You are a light to so many!

You help create bright futures!

Thanks to your support, All Things Made New had so many beautiful and brilliant moments in 2021. We’ve served more youth, more families, and worked with more amazing volunteers than ever before. You and your generosity of spirit, time, and resources bring joy to ATMN youth and families. Celebrate all the good you helped bring to 2021 below!

uplifting youth

Youth empowerment is at the core of ATMN’s mission and our 2021 programming reflected this.

We continued our location inclusive online small group mentoring and grew our one-on-one mentoring. Over 60 new youth enrolled in mentoring in 2021!

After a year of being exclusively online, ATMN also brought back in-person activities. From fitness classes to skill-building activities such as cookie decorating, youth found so many new ways to engage and grow.

We are especially proud of the ATMN Youth Advisory Council that formed in 2021. This amazing group of youth leaders come together to discuss issues important to them and their community, learn leadership skills, and build character.

Other 2021 youth programs included a week-long spring break day camp, college and career readiness classes, and boys nights and girls nights of bonding and friendship.

providing support

Beyond empowering youth, ATMN understands that in order to become thriving adults, some youth need support in a variety of aspects of their lives.

In our second year of the family case management program ATMN has been able to assist over 24 families with getting access to resources such as food assistance, rent assistance, and healthcare.

Additionally, through the generosity of organization such as World Vision and Five Below, ATMN was able to provide backpacks filled with school supplies as well as general activity packs including games, snacks, art supplies, and toys to the ATMN community.

ATMN also continued our Birthday Card Club program in which volunteers write and decorate cards to youth for their birthdays.

Finally, ATMN is currently working with generous sponsors to make Christmas dreams come true through our Christmas Wish program. These sponsors will purchase Christmas gifts for ATMN families that would otherwise go without this holiday season.

Creating community

It was a gold star year for building community connections for All Things Made New.

First, as always, we are so proud of our caring and hard working volunteers. From mentors to Birthday Card club members to amazing volunteer groups from EFG Companies and AT&T’s HACEMOS, ATMN had a record breaking year for volunteer hours. Over 6,500 hours of volunteering were donated in 2021!

Another huge step towards creating a strong nonprofit community in South Irving was the formation of The Alliance. This nonprofit collaboration includes The Main Place, Crisis Ministries, and ATMN. All nonprofits work together on collaborative case management to ensure their clients have access to all resources they need. The Alliance also engages the community in events such as the The Alliance Golf Tournament which had it’s innaugural tee-off in September.

ATMN hosted a resource fair for Irving nonprofits in October and a Friendsgiving community meal for supporters and families in November. On top of all the events, ATMN is forming new connections through programs such as the Parent Series hosted by ATMN and Family Promise of Irving and our partnership with Carter’s House to provide free school uniforms to South Irving students.

As we look to 2022, we see even bigger things in our communities future. Some of our hopes for the next year include…

  • Creating a more robust tutoring program.

  • Hosting even more events for community engagement.

  • Expanding our staff to meet the growing needs of the community.

And we cannot do it without the support of the community. Be a part of future at ATMN by continuing your support today!
